Please allow us up 3-5 business days to process your order.
We ship out all items through Canada Post.
If you need your item expedited, please contact us prior to your purchase.

Tracking and insurance can be purchased for an additional cost. If you would like insurance or delivery confirmation, please convo us before purchasing and we will create a Shipping Upgrade Listing for you.

If you want tracking/delivery confirmation in addition to insurance, please convo us for the exact cost.

*International Customers: please convo us for a shipping quote if you want insurance/delivery confirmation.Shipping to all International countries for orders over $100 require shipping upgrade to include tracking and insurance.

Please be aware that International shipping can take up to 4 -6 weeks time. Average transit time is 10 to 20 working days( to US) but I have had packages take as long as 6 weeks. Please convo us if you haven't received your package in 4 weeks time, we will do our very best to solve the issue.

International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties/custom charges associated with shipping to their respective countries.

We ship all items to the shipping address you provide, so please make sure that it is up to date. We cannot be responsible for shipping to an incorrect or out of date address, so please double check the address is correct.

Once your purchase has been shipped out it is no longer our responsibility. We cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged packages in transit.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with an item, please contact us and we will do our best to find a resolution.

We want every Maa Mala customer to be satisified. If you are not happy with your item or it arrives broken, please notify us within 3 days of receiving your item. We prefer not to do an exchange or return unless something arrives damaged. However, We will accept exchanges for store credit within 3 days of shipping and will happily repair or replace an item if necessary.  Note that you are responsible for any shipping or postal fees you incur when shipping returns and exchanges back to us.

Please return your items for exchange to us through a postal service. Choose a prepaid, insured, traceable delivery service and mail your package to our below address. For ex. Canada Post, USPS. and Australia Post. We do not accept courier packages or packages sent with COD charges.


We will exchange the merchandise once it is returned to me. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. We also reserve the right to refuse a return/exchange for any reason. For exchanges, please include a note with your package indicating what you would like to exchange, and clearly indicate the return address.  If in the event of an exchange, the item must be returned in it's original condition and unused.

The Malas are made with silk cord and are designed for meditation purposes. If you choose to wear your mala as a jewellery piece please avoid wearing in water, this will comprise the strength of the string. The glue is industrial strength, but it can stop adhering if it gets wet. For energetic cleansing, smudge with sage rather water or liquid. It is recommended that you do not hang your Mala when not in use but rather store in a sacred container. Please note that items damaged from contact with water, lotions, hair products, perfumes or other substances used in everyday life can not be repaired or replaced.

Funds can only be refunded to the original form of payment. Please contact me so I can do my best to make sure you have a positive experience. Thanks!

Also, please indicate on package “RETURN, NO DUTIES” or your package will be returned to you.

*We will not accept returns or exchanges on used or worn product.

Repairs

If your mala breaks (and it will) don’t worry! This is a good thing. When a mala breaks it represents the breaking of your karmic ties.  Your mala breaking can signify growth and your progression toward freedom.

It is recommended to remove mala before taking a shower, swimming, exercise, cleaning or blueberry picking.
Don’t use cleansers to clean mala.
When not wearing your jewelry store it in it’s box, a pouch, soft cloth wraps. I recommend using the same sacred storage place each time.

Seeds are porous and delicate and should not get wet. Moisture (excessive sweat, swimming, showering) will cause the lotus seeds to swell and then shrink, which can lead to cracking. Lotus seeds may darken over time from the natural oils in your skin. Avoid contact with or spraying with perfumes and chemicals.

Protect the gemstones on your mala from impact against hard and abrasive surfaces. If hit against a hard or rough surface, you can chip or damage your stone. **This is especially important for the 108-bead malas with the large focal stones at the bottom.

Whether you use your mala beads for japa mantras while meditating or as a reminder of your intentions.
